Director of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment

Lincoln College, a private, residential liberal arts institution with campuses in Lincoln and Normal, Illinois, seeks a Director of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment.  Lincoln College, offering both associate and baccalaureate degrees, is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association.  Pending funding, the starting date for the position is October 1, 2010.

The position requires management of a comprehensive body of data utilized by the institution’s decision-makers, especially as related to assessment, planning, and institutional research.  Responsibilities include using analytical software, such as SPSS or SAS, and other programs to perform data analysis, maintaining and reporting data from internal surveys and evaluations, creating reports and data files, producing an institutional fact book, and interpreting data in written narrative, tables, and executive summaries.

The successful candidate will have a master’s degree in a related field along with demonstrated analytical and research skills as well as proficiency in utilizing a wide range of technology applications and understanding of the area of assessment.  The individual must also possess strong written and oral communication skills.
