Keith CorbilLincoln, IL – The Lincoln College Athletic Department has named Keith Corbeil as their next head coach for men’s and women’s swimming and diving at Lincoln College.

Former Asheville High School Head Coach Keith Corbeil enters his first season at the helm of the Lynx Swimming & Diving programs at Lincoln College.  During the past eight years though out western North Carolina has coached age groupers, senior swimmers and adults to prepare him for this challenge.  

Corbeil was a professor at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Business.  Success in a sport starts in the classroom, as Coach Keith got firsthand experience teaching athlete’s in the Construction & Technology department. 

As a Head Coach he has trained swimmers who are team members of Division I and III programs. His organizational skills and commitment to student success was evident in his team’s recent success at the State Finals where a student-athlete earned the State title in the 200 IM and All-American consideration.

Corbeil is a Western Carolina University graduate where he coached age group swimmers and graduated with a Master’s in Project Management.  He served as Head Coach in the Mountain Swim League where teaching fundamental technique was forefront in the program.  Corbeil began his duties on March 1st, 2014 recruiting student-athletes for the 2014-15 competitive season. 

He is a USA Swimming member and has trained and competed in the U.S. Masters program.  He is a parent of a teenage swimmer himself, and understands the dedication it takes to be successful between the lane lines of the pool and in the classroom.

Diving Coach:

Strength & Conditioning Coach:

Successful candidate will have the knowledge and experience in developing and implementing a training program for young athletes in weight lifting, muscle conditioning, and dry land exercises.

Preferred studies in Marketing, Communication and/or Business; position requires direct interaction with recruiting new high school and transfer students. As well as communicating with other college coaches.
