LC Coach Mark Tippett:  We did not come away with any match wins to show for it, but we played some very competitive volleyball this weekend.  We were right in every match and if a hand full of points had gone our way we could be looking at a record more like 3-1 right now instead of 0-4.  We made too many careless errors and had trouble getting off to strong starts in most sets.  We did hit the ball well and our block was solid most of the time too.  I am confident that now that we have some experience under our belt we will cut down on the unforced errors and put ourselves in better position to win matches.

Lincoln travels to Illinois Valley CC for a match on Tuesday evening.
