The week of November 4th through 12th has been designated "Non-Traditional Student Recognition Week" by the Association for Non-Traditional Student in Higher Education (or ANTSHE). Each year this week is set aside as an opportunity to recognize the achievements of our non-traditional students, the challenges they face in completing their educational goals, and to say "Thank you" to them for being such vital part of our campus community. This year we're packing quite a few events into the week and I have included a detailed list below. Even if you're not currently engaged in teaching a class, please try to come by campus for any or all of the events you'd like to take part in and show your support for one of our most important student constituencies.
