
As a New Student
New students may apply for admission for the fall, spring, or summer semester. Lincoln College-Normal offers admission to applicants who appear to have the highest potential for undergraduate study and who are the most likely to succeed in college level coursework.
Admission Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Satisfactory scholastic record, usually with a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 2.0/4.0 (a “C” avg.)
- ACT* composite score of 17 or higher
- Enough academic training to do undergraduate work in your chosen major.**
*Non-traditional students (21 years and older) are exempt from submitting ACT scores.
**Students not meeting all of the minimum academic admission requirements listed above will be considered by the Admissions Committee, and in some cases a personal statement, interview, and/or other documentation such as letters of recommendation may be required to complete the application file before an admissions decision can be made.
Acceptance to Lincoln College-Normal is based on a holistic review of a prospective student’s application materials. Each application is given equal consideration.
