The Lincoln College Volleyball team won a wild match on Thursday, September 20th against the Millikin University JV team.

In set four, the Lady Lynx again appeared to have control of the match as they jumped out to an early 7-2 lead behind the strong serve of sophomore Kelly Anderson. LC Coach Mark Tippett: It seems like every time we play Millikin’s JV it winds up being a very intense match and tonight was no exception. Both teams played very hard and certainly entertained the crowd. I was proud of the mental toughness our players showed as they played aggressively down the stretch. We did not let late runs by MU get us rattled and were able to stay calm in difficult situations. I was especially pleased with our intensity on defense which led to a number of strong transition swings for our hitters. This was a fun match to have been a part of and a win which should help build our confidence level as we move forward.
Lincoln College is off this weekend and will next be in action at Danville on Thursday, September 27th.
