LC Coach Mark Tippett: Tonight showed once again how tough it is to win matches against teams in our Region. Danville made us pay for our unforced errors and inability to pass serve consistently. The good news is that our team is showing the ability to stay calm in high pressure situations and our hitters are not afraid to take aggressive swings when the game is close. Defensively we played hard and were able to win several of the long rallies in this match. I look forward to getting in the gym over the next few days to work on our serve receive passing and side out offense. If we can sharpen up in this area I am sure we will find future wins to be a lot less stressful than the way we won tonight.
Lincoln is off until next Wednesday when they host Conference and Region rival Lincoln Land Community College for a 6:00 pm match.
