On Monday evening, the Lincoln College Women’s Basketball team hosted Lake Land College.   The Lady Lynx played right with the Lakers in the early going.  LC built a 16-13 first quarter lead, but Lake Land turned up the heat on defense and took a 37-20 lead into the locker room at halftime.  In the second half, Lincoln couldn’t get going offensively and fell to Lakers 72-39.

The Lady Lynx were led in scoring by Erynn Young who tossed in 9 points on 4 of 22 shooting from the field.  Keona Bolden had 12 points on 6 of 21 shooting.  The Lynx went a combined 14 of 65 from the field including 1 of 18 from the 3 point line. The loss drops LC to 11-14 on the year.  

The team will try to snap their 3 game losing streak on Saturday at Parkland.
