Coach Herron said, “In heat like this the times do not matter as much as the effort and desire to compete. Tonight I saw a lot of effort and desire so I am pretty happy. This is a complete rebuild year on both the men’s and women’s side. If they all continue to work hard and push each other every day I can see them dramatically improving.”
The Lynx will next compete at the Walt Crawford Invite hosted by Eastern Illinois University on September 6th. Women’s 5k starts at 4:45, Men’s 8k starts at 5:30.
