On Wednesday, September 16th, the Lincoln College women’s volleyball team will host RMU-Peoria in a 6:00pm match.  This match will be a benefit match for a local group that supports ALS research.  Head Coach Mark Tippett is making the event fun and exciting by inviting a current LC coach of another sports team at Lincoln College to be a “volunteer coach” to participate in the pregame captain’s meeting, turn in the lineup sheet, sit on the team bench during the match if they wish, and in general be the star of the show for the evening.  Then, during the intermission between sets 2 and 3, the volunteer coach and any of their team members in attendance will be invited to participate in a “Knock out ALS” serving challenge.  Memebers of the men’s volleyball team will form the letters ALS on the court and the players will get a set amount of time to try to hit the players with served volleyballs and knock them out.  Sounds like fun, huh?  Come join the Lynx and help Knock out ALS!!
