The Lincoln College Fine Arts Department will present their annual Spring Choir Concert on Thursday, May 1. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Meyer Theater in the Johnston Center for the Performing Arts on the Lincoln campus. General admission is $2.

The concert will feature the 40+-member Chorale and the 12-member auditioned Chamber Choir performing a broad repertoire of classical, Israeli, gospel, jazz, pop and musical theater numbers in English, Latin and Russian.

The evening’s program includes “O Fortuna” from Orff’s Camina Burana, “Send in the Clowns” from Sondheim’s A Little Night Music, “Royals” by Lorde, “Some Nights” as performed on Glee, and “Let it Go” from Disney’s hit film Frozen.  Soloists include Chase Doolin singing “Like a Star” and Skylir Kenning singing “For Good” from Wicked. Alan Rasnic and Emily Johnson will perform the duet “Say Something.” Percussionist TJ Kissel and guitarist Matthew Sheridan will provide accompaniment.

Vocal Director Cynthia Fox Fucile said the students have worked very hard this year. “I’d really like this concert to be packed. I’m so proud of the students, and it’s going to be a great show.”
