Students from the Lincoln College Contemporary Jazz Studies program are again teaming up with the Lincoln Park District to offer individual music lessons.   Individual instruction in saxophone, trombone, beginning piano, bass guitar, and drums will be offered to students age 6 to 14 beginning March 9 and running through April 27. Sessions last 30 minutes and are available between 4:30-7:30 p.m. each Tuesday evening.   Student instructors from Lincoln College are under the supervision of contemporary jazz studies lead faculty member, Dr. Denise La Grassa. The students will customize lessons for everyone from first-time beginners learning to read music to the more intermediate player interested in beginning improvisation skills.   All lessons are $120 for the 8-week session. Interested persons should register by calling the Park District at (217) 732-8770 by March 4.
