What to Bring & What Not to Bring
You’ve got your clothes packed, some personal items that you plan to decorate your room with, and you may have an idea as to what books you need to buy for your classes – but what else do you need to bring with you? Most first time college students don’t know what they should bring with them to college when they’re living on campus, especially when college is a long distance from home and one can’t travel back and forth too easily.
When it comes to packing, there are a few things that you should bring with you and a few things that you can leave at home. Below are just a few items that we feel you shouldn’t leave home without (and some you should).
In an effort to provide a safe and healthy living environment, we encourage all residential students to bring a thermometer, face mace and/or creative face covering and practice social distancing in accordance to state and federal guidelines.
- Wash your hands frequently with soap and water (20 seconds at least)
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick and stay home if you are sick and notify health services
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
- Cover your cough/sneeze
