Business Administration

A Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management is designed to provide students with a rich, comprehensive, and challenging curriculum that encompasses the major fields of study in business.

Business Management students will take classes from four areas:

  • Marketing and Management
  • Accounting, Economics, and Finance
  • Quantitative Methods
  • Leadership and Organizational Behavior

The Business Management industry is large and diverse with a wide range of career opportunities.

Bachelor of Arts: Community and Human Services

The Bachelor of Arts in Community and Human Services is an interdisciplinary program preparing students for graduate study in social work or careers in service to others in individual and community settings.  Students will take courses in sociology, psychology, and community and human services to integrate knowledge and understanding of the socio-economic culture which community and human services are delivered.

In addition to a junior year practicum, the program culminates in an internship with a human services agency to provide students with experience in applying theory to professional practice.

Bachelor of Science: Conservation Biology

The Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology is an interdisciplinary program, challenging students to utilize skills and knowledge from a variety of scientific fields in order to address complex environmental issues.

This degree is grounded in natural science and mathematics.  Students will engage in student-generated, on-going research projects utilizing Creekside: Lincoln College’s Outdoor Center for Environmental Education. The program culminates with an internship allowing students to gain additional practical experience in the field.  After completion of the program, students will be prepared for employment in the field or advanced study in graduate school.

Criminal Justice

A Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Studies from Lincoln College offers students a wide range of contemporary curriculum classes with a balance of academic and professional knowledge. Classes offered include training in diversity studies, international criminal justice, and women in criminal justice. Students have the opportunity to engage in internships in various criminal justice agencies.

Criminal Justice Studies majors have the choice of concentrations in corrections, law enforcement or pre-law.  Criminal Justice majors typically work in public positions for local, state, or federal government agencies or private employers.

The Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science prepares students for careers in the four principle fitness sectors of sport, industry, health and education including entry-level positions as an exercise specialist in community, corporate, or clinical settings. The program is also designed to establish a strong foundation for graduate study in exercise physiology. Students take courses in anatomy and physiology, the biomechanics of human movement and the application of these concepts to applied exercise and therapeutic rehabilitation to promote a healthy lifestyle in individuals and communities.  The program culminates with an internship allowing students to apply their knowledge to real world settings.

Jazz Studies

The Lincoln College Jazz Studies major prepares students to become a performing musician, private instructor, or a music arranger/composer. Jazz studies majors will focus on music theory and aural skills, lessons and ensembles, jazz improvisation, jazz harmony and jazz history. Students also receive private instruction from dedicated and skilled professionals and preparation for recital and instrumental juries.

Lincoln College Jazz Studies students are involved in performance ensembles as soon as they come to campus!

New Media

Radio, Television, and New Media

The Bachelor’s of Arts in Radio, Television, and New Media degree is designed as a “theory to practice” degree, exposing students to both the theoretical and applied aspects of the media industry and preparing students for careers in radio, television, and new media. Students will learn how the emerging world of  new media is rapidly changing the delivery of mass communication through digital and multimedia platforms across the world today.

Students successfully completing the degree can pursue careers in media production, programming, promotion, marketing, advertising and sales.

When students arrive on campus, they will have the opportunity to immediately start learning and working at the College radio station, WLNX-FM and the television station, LCTV.

Students will take a wide variety of different courses offered such as; Audio and Video Production, Communication Law, History of American Radio and Television, and Digital and Interactive Media among others.


A Bachelor of Science in Sport Management is designed to engage students in a curriculum that provides practical training in sport settings and academic classes involving business and sport management such as: Ethics in Sports, Sport Marketing, Management, and Sport Law.

A career in Sport Management involves any combination of the following skills whose primary product or service is related to sport or physical activity: planning, organizing, directing, controlling, budgeting, leading, and evaluating.

The Bachelor of Arts in Theatre is designed help students gain a well-rounded background in theatre. Theatre Majors will gain practical experience in acting, directing, or technical theatre in a variety of theatre settings.

Lincoln College Theatre Majors have the opportunity to be involved in shows as soon as they arrive on campus.

The Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance prepares students for careers in performing and private studio teaching and for advanced study of voice and graduate level.  The program provides students with the study of technique, theoretical concepts and interpretation while granting them performance opportunities.  Students have the opportunity to perform right away and continue to have these opportunities throughout the program.  The program culminates with a senior recital demonstrating mastery of all learning outcomes.
