Fourteen Peoria Area Students Receive Honors at Lincoln College – ABE

Fourteen Peoria area students have been named to honors lists for the fall 2021 semester in Lincoln College’s Accelerated Bridge to Education (ABE) program offered on the Peoria campus of Illinois Central College.

 

The list includes eight students who received Special Honors for a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

 

Angela Camacho of Morton; Juan Cobarrubias, Layzia Hawkins, Matthew Hawley, Ashley Hightower, Wendy Kislet, Bradley Reeser, and Christopher Watkins received Special Honors.

 

Two area students were named to the President’s List for a grade point average of 3.75 to 3.99, Randall Vance and Jennifer Weitzel.

 

Four Peoria area students were named to the Dean’s List. Dean’s List students are recognized for a grade point average of 3.25 to 3.74.

 

Tiffany Chandler, Riley Close, Wanda Rogers, and Andee Shelton-Ray were honored on the Dean’s List.

 

The Accelerated Bridge to Education program is designed for adult learners with students attending class one night a week for five weeks supplemented by online learning.

 

Multiple start dates are offered during the year, giving adult students greater flexibility to balance their class load with their work and personal schedules.
